Following on from the email broadcast last week regarding the slideshow evening, I have had only responses from two members prepared to make presentations.
I thought it only fair at this stage (Thursday morning) to to let the staff at Cotswold know and cancel the evening.
Since the email broadcast last week regarding the slideshow evening, I have not had any response from any members who would like to make a presentation and share their adventures with the club members.
If you would like to participate with a short talk and presentation please let me know asap.
If I don’t hear from anyone then I need to let the staff at Cotswold know and cancel the evening.
I messed up on the date for this event, so it has now been changed to a week later, the 24th.
Please come along to see presentations from club members showing what they have been up to this year and sharing past adventures.
If you would like to contribute please let me know, -all efforts greatly received!
Doors open for exclusive shopping at 6.30 pm, show kicks off around 7.30pm
Look forward to seeing you there.
All the best

There is still time to book yourself a place amongst the wonderful hills of Buttermere in the Lake District for the Bank Holiday. With verdant woodlands, gushing ghylls, cascading waterfalls and a scene of stupendous awe and beauty, Buttermere cannot fail to impinge on the senses.
Please could any members who are interested in attending but not yet signed up please email Paul Hearn. Buttermere is an Idyllic location in the heart of the Lake District, with easy access to some great walks and crags. Staying at the Buttermere YHA superbly located and with excellent facilities. Places available for 16 members on a half board basis (which was very successful at last May’s Wasdale Meet)

On behalf of the new 2014 committee I would like to welcome you all to our new and improved website, many great thanks to Phil Whitehurst for all his hard work in producing such a gem. Not only do we have a new look, but increased functionality and ease of use. It is now much easier to stay in touch, view club activities and book on to Meets.
My thanks to those of you who have now joined me on the committee, I can assure club members that we will be working hard in your best interest to continue to keep the Club running smoothly, while investigating ways to make the club an even better experience.
Please take some time to familiarize yourself with the new site, so that you can get the maximum from it.
We recently asked you all to take part in a Club Meets survey. I am pleased to say we got a very good response with 47 of the 80 members contributing their views. The stats for this are being collated and will be published in due course.
It has been very worthwhile for forward planning of future meets. We are now in a position to tailor much closely the preferences of members on type of venue and location going in to 2015.
