Anyone interested in joining Andrew and I on a climbing trip to Fontainebleau in April?

They say that the climbing conditions in Spring are the best; Its a relaxing environment, we previously booked a cheap hotel room for under 40 Euros with space to sleep 3 Adults.
Morning Breakfast in caf with Coffee, Cakes and Croissants!
Climb all day fueled by chocolate and French Cheese and Tomatoe Baguettes. then head to bar for few beers in the evening.
and then do it all again on Sunday...
and then do it all again on Monday...

I'd potentially be keen.

Been to Font a couple of times in the last couple of years, driven over and camped.

What kind of grades are you climbing?

Yes! I'm up for it! You mentioned this to me, Steve, at the Xmas buffet, and I admit I'd completely forgotten about it until seeing this. Hadn't had that many pints of Guinness that night.....

Steve, I'm also interested. If enough people from club are we should talk about booking up. When are you thinking?

James: I found Font grades are a bit misleading but I enjoy doing the red problems.
Davey: second weekend in April (Friday-to-Monday).
Rough plan is to leave UK on Friday Night and get the 8pm Train from Folkstone. If costs are an issue then you can camp for FREE within the forests /no loos. The Hotel I've previously stayed was in Nemours (25km away). We were thinking of spending Saturday and Sunday at Roche aux Sabot http://bleau.info/sabots/.
On Monday morning heading to "Bas-Cuvier" http://bleau.info/cuvier/ and then leave for England in the afternoon to get the 8pm Euro train home!

Steve,
Haven't been down on a Tuesday for a couple of weeks so haven't been able to catch up with you about the trip but if you've still a space in your car then I'd like to take it! I'll be down on Tuesday, perhaps see you then...?

A few pictures of this weekend in Font drove from UK at 4pm Friday returned 10pm Monday night (left Bas Cuvier at 3pm). The total cost was around 400 between 3 people. Yes, I sprained my angle on Saturday so I didnt get to climb on Sun/Mon. http://picasaweb.google.co.uk/steve.moore.10g/2010_April_Fontainebleau#
There are a few videos at the bottom of the page (not all because of space and compression issues).

they dont look all that bad for boulders..

shame aboot yer ankle min..managed tae get most way through
yer photies, theres flamin heaps..

photies 96&97, if ye click fast back and forth between the photies it looks pretty cool..same wi a few o the others..140,141,142,143 good sequence..

Laybacking hurts less than jamming until you fall off.
