Staying at the Herts Snowdonia Centre, ideally located within walking distance of the Snowdon summit. Great hill walking, mountain biking and climbing. Three course meal and disco in the evening at Cafe Gwynant. Black tie (optional). Cost 45.00. 34 places.

We have about 27 people going at the moment. Anyone got any plans in particular (of the outdoor nature) for the annual dinner weekend?
I'm happy to help with co-ordinating lifts. Post here or let me know if you are are looking to share a car.

Walking as Helen's had a frozen shoulder for the past few weeks and isn't fully recovered.

Is the snow still around at the mo? I know it is further north but haven't been checking up on Snowdonia conditions.

How far is it to the cafe from the hut and will there be a red carpet? Helen was wondering about wearing heels if she has to walk very far (or on a rough track) or have you laid on a limosine service Pete?

It's about a five minute walk from the hut (see link below). You might have to carry her Phil!

Ideally climb with Sarah if it's not too cold, all depends on conditions.

Glad you got a lift sorted Bron. See you there. Any idea if you're climbing or walking yet?

Anybody walking? Hate climbing if it is really wet and cold. If there are walkers out there, anyone doing anything exciting?

Oooh. I put mine up again in the garden yesterday. Feeling very rusty after not doing anything all winter.

Great, so plenty walkers then. I am up for a expedition on the Saturday. Hope we get some snow. I have new winter boots, that haven't been over 100m, to try out!

I've been looking at pictures of Tremadog in the guide books in glorious sunshine, and somehow have convinced myself it's going to be nice weather for climbing. Ha! Fool!!!
