Join the meet at Jubilee Camping in Damerham New Forest. This is a ‘book your own spot’ meet, and gather round the same fire pit to make plans, share stories!
The New Forest National Park is on the doorstep, with plenty of walking and biking routes to explore.
Jubilee Camping has spacious grass pitches, you can choose where you like to pitch out of the three fields available. Pitches are not usually marked out as space is never at a premium. It offers a ‘back to basics’ feel but with proper facilities and weekend pop-up catering. Firepits can be hired and wood can be delivered to your tent. Seasonal on-site catering is available on Bank Holidays and summer weekends including baked potatoes and wood-fired pizzas. In the mornings, breakfast rolls and hot drinks. Booze? Relax at the Shepherd’s Hut Bar, serving local ales, ciders, lagers, wine, etc. Site offers plenty of space to explore, and a five minute walk will take you down to the Village where you can find The Compasses Pub https://www.compassesinndamerham.co.uk , for a quick drink or a tasty meal.
You can have up to 2 tents per pitch/6 people so when you book you have the option to share with other club members. Camper vans are welcome, one van per pitch. This meet is also open to our friends at Loughton Mountaineering Club.
