You can download the Membership form, complete it, and email it to the Secretary (email address provided on the form). The applicable membership fee should be paid by bank transfer. Confirmation of your membership will be sent to you once your application has been approved.
HMC Club Membership is open to everyone over the age of 18 years. The Membership year runs from 1st January – 31st December. The current fee is £35 per membership year. If a new member joins after the 1st July a reduced rate of £17.50 is payable
Membership fees are set by the committee to ensure the club remains a viable non-profit making organisation.
You are very welcome to join us, to come on a meet, and decide if we have what you want in a mountaineering club. When you are ready to join you will need to complete an application form and pay the membership fee applicable.
Once accepted into the club you will receive a BMC membership card. The card entitles you to discounts at a number of shops. Often you can recoup the cost of membership with the discount on your first major outdoor purchase. You will also benefit from BMC affiliation, Third Party BMC Insurance benefits. You will also be able to vote at our AGM, stand for a committee position, and play a part in helping to run the club (if you wish).
In order to join you must have read and accepted the club constitution .
